Abstract

Two-dimensional conjugated coordination polymers (2D c-CPs), an emerging family of 2D materials, have received great research interest due to their versatile framework topologies and unique physical properties, which found a wide variety of applications. In this review, we summarized the state-of-the-art works of 2D c-CPs in terms of synthesis strategies, topological structures, and their applications. Essential factors that affect the chemical structures and performance, such as the type of ligand, metal nodes, and their stoichiometric ratios have been highlighted. Besides, the perspectives and challenges are also provided considering the future development of 2D c-CPs.
