Abstract

The thermal stability and pyrolysis pathway of liquid crystalline polysiloxanes containing benzyl ether and biphenyl mesogen were investigated by pyrolysis gas chromatography (Py-GC) and Py-GC/MS. The polysiloxanes were stable up to 250°C.
