The primary exploration of lateral stress measurement

Abstract

In the foundation of theoretically analyzing the relationship of the stress, strain and changes of resistance, the contrasting experiment arrangement of the wide and narrow lateral stress gauge is brought up. Furthermore the plane impact experiment is conducted in China Engineering Physics Institute using a 100-mm hydrogen-driven gas gun. The results of the experiment basically proved the correctness of our theoretically analyses and the feasibility of our experiment arrangement.
