Abstract

Respectively use Micron-Tetragonal ZrO2, doped with 2.5mol% Y2O3 of Micron-Tetragonal ZrO2 and doped with 5.0mol% Y2O3 of Micron-Tetragonal ZrO2 as raw materials, prepared by high temperature solid state reaction, we produced the Lithium Zirconate (Li2ZrO3), which can directly absorb CO2 at a temperature between 450C and 650C. In order to study the morphology, structure and the performance of CO2 absorption of the Li2ZrO3 materials, we respectively use the method of scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray powder diffractometer (XRD) and thermogravimetric analyzer (TG) to analysis it. The results showed that the addition of Y element in ZrO2 can improve the ability of the CO 2 absorption.
