Abstract

Adaptive optics is one of the most effective techniques for high resolution imaging. The adaptive optics system without wave front sensor is required in many applications. In a wave front sensorless adaptive optics system, the wave front aberration is derived from the image quality metric function through given algorithm. In this paper we study the optimization model based wave front sensorless adaptive optics correction approach and its application in space remote sensing imaging. The application efficiency of the algorithm depends on related parameters in the algorithm such as the spatial frequency range of image and the biases. In this paper we present a new selection method of the biases, give a reference spatial frequency range and promote the algorithm to improve the correction accuracy. At last we present the performance of model-based wave front sensorless adaptive optics scheme for space remote imaging through simulation.
