Abstract

In this paper it is introduced the basic principle of the laser diffraction particle size analyzer. The calculation formula of the light energy received by photoelectric detector is given and the method to calculate particle size distribution is analyzed in detail. A novel method to calculate particle size distribution by improved least squares problem is presented. Finally, Numerical simulations are performed respectively by functional limiting solution and free distribution solution simulation.
