Abstract

Li4SiO4 to be used as a CO2 absorbent are synthesized by used SiO2 and Li2CO3. The crystal structure of the Li4SiO4 materials were analyzed using a X-ray powder diffractometer (XRD), the microstructure of all the samples were observed using the method of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and the CO2-absorption ability of the Li4SiO4 materials were studied using a thermo gravimetric analyzer (TG). The results showed that after 5 years in the air, the CO2-absorption ability of Li 4SiO4 was decreased because of water absorbed by Li 4SiO4
