Abstract

Based on the vector wave functions of cone in spherical coordinates, the expansion of the electric dyadic Green's function is derived. The expression of radiation of the electric dipole is obtained by this dyadic function. Furthermore, the expressions of the field after the media changing abruptly are obtained and a discussion on the field character in the near-field region of the dipole before and after media changing is represented.
