Abstract

This paper redesigns the original control rod current and circuit system based on FPGA, using operation interface to control the digital potentiometer in the circuit, thus allowing workers to write or read the system parameters on PC. The circuit of IGBT is also designed in this paper. Using the differential amplifier circuit and according to the feedback signals, it can produce PWM waveforms and the PWM could drive IGBT, through the driving of the modulation wave, the circuit of IGBT will output the current that can be adjusted. The current can drive the Control Rod Drive Mechanism (CRDM) according to the electromagnetic induction. The feasibility of the proposed control rod current and circuit system is verified by actual simulated load test.
