Abstract

Permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM) is a multivariable complex nonlinear plant with strong coupling and time-varying parameters. It is hard to reconcile the contradiction between the performance of anti-interference and response speed by traditional PID method. In order to solve the problem, a compound fuzzy immune PID (CFI-PID) method is presented in this paper and applied to the velocity loop of PMLSM vector control system. The proposed controller is compared with traditional PID, fuzzy PID as well as general fuzzy immune PID (FI-PID) when the system starts with rated load, load suddenly changes and the parameters of the PMLSM change, the simulation results show that the CFI-PID controller can achieve smaller overshoot, faster dynamic response, stronger anti-interference performance and robustness.
