Abstract

In recent years, chelating ion-exchange fiber has been paid more and more attention in the field of scientific separation research, for its use of extraction, separation and analysis of metal ions. Chelating ion-exchange fiber has strong adsorption and excellent adsorptive selectivity of metal ions. It can be used for recycling, enrichment, separation of metal ions, such as radioactive metal ions, precious metal ions, transition metal ions and rare earth metal ions, etc. In order to improve the adsorption and selectivity of chelating ion-exchange fiber, many chelating ion-exchange fibers of new structure have been prepared recently. This paper reviews the preparation and adsorption performance recent new chelating ion-exchange fibers. And the development prospect is also presented.
