Abstract

compared with some common text file compression algorithms in the factors of compress ratio, rate and data coherence, and research on the data type of the RFID tags, we can find LZSS is the appropriate compression algorithm used in the RFID tag's data storage. LZSS is a lossless compression algorithm, it has a high compress ratio and quick compress rate, so it can raise the performance of RFID system if used in the tag's data storage.
