Abstract

The characteristics of impulse signal circular synthetic aperture radar imaging is analyzed in this paper. The point spread functions of point target back projection algorithm imaging are derived in azimuth and range, and then the azimuth and range resolution is calculated. The azimuth resolution improves as the observation angle increases and the range resolution deteriorates as the observation angle increases. The correctness of derived results is verified by simulation.
