The affection of spray time to the performance of the free piston engine

Abstract

Free piston engine is a hot research spot recently for its high efficiency and low emission in auto industry and heavy-duty industry. A multidimensional simulation was set up by using Fire( AVL) . Analysis the previous conclusions and the simulation results, the emission performance of engine is better than convention no matter when to spray. But the efficiency of engine is affected by the spray time, it's better to arranged the spray time before TDC.
