Abstract

The impact on the scattering intensity distribution from the spherical and ellipsoidal models' of aerosol particles absorption effect was presented. The Mie scattering theory and T-matrix methods were respectively used to process those scattering problems. The relationship of the single aerosol particles' scattering intensity with scattering angle was derived from the above two theories, meanwhile, the simulation results show that the absorption effect of the aerosol particles has impact on the backward scattering intensity. Based on the calculation results, in the last, the backscattering intensity with the sphere aerosols' absorption effect and the spheroid aerosols' absorption effect followed respectively the exponential and the non-linear relationship was obtained.
