Abstract

The simple inertial navigation system aims to keep the flight path of terminal-guided projectile as a straight line for extending its range. The working principle of projectile's inertial navigation system was analyzed, and a simplified projectile's inertial navigation mode including pitch and yaw channels was presented in virtue of Aerospace Blockset of MATLAB/Simulink. The lateral disturbance factors and the lateral distribution in the inertial navigation system were analyzed. The results validate the simplified model. Some strategies are established to reduce the projectile's lateral distribution.
