Abstract

To measure the change of pneumatic temperature in the pressure tank with stuffed materials, the stop-in-the-middle method is proposed based on developed mathematic model of measuring the change of temperature in the tank. Good agreement between the simulation and experiment results show that the established model is correct. In addition, to shorten the test time, a new approximate fast calculating means is deduced. The results show that the new computational method can save more than 90% of testing time compared to the original one with the same measurement accuracy.
