Abstract

A Technique of two searches and one track for seabed Terrain-aided navigation is put forward with search model and track one. Optimal matching position is obtained through Kalman filtering according to residual index and terrain-slope respectively in different stage. Simulation results show that modified SITAN algorithm is more reasonable and effective in theory than before one. Meanwhile, the positioning accuracy is greatly improved.
