Abstract

As for pure-electric coaches, pure-electric cars, and pure-electric minicars, the cost mode of electric vehicles is structured and analyzed in this paper based on the life cycle cost theory. Analysis and argumentation are also conducted in comparison with traditional oil-fueled vehicles. Technical and economic influence factors for the application of pure-electric vehicles are further discussed by means of battery lease. The analysis result shows that integrated performance of pure-electric vehicles will be prior to traditional oil-fueled vehicles. Under the influence of fuel cost increase, environmental pollution and energy crisis, extensive use of pure-electric vehicles will become an inexorable trend.
