Abstract

According to the characteristic of the sea reverberation, a model, which considers reverberation as a part of the sum of stochastic echoes issued from the transmitted signal, was established. A signal processing method was proposed based on the model. Utilizing the low rank structure of the reverberation, the reverberation component is subtracted from the received signal of the detect device and matched filtering is used to detect the target signal component in the residual waveform. The simulated results prove that this processing method can restrain the sea reverberation and extract the target signal effectively.
