Abstract

Spaceborne SAR works in all-weather and day-night and has the ability to image vast area at a high resolution in two dimensions. These advantages make it one of the most important remote sensing devices for earth observation. By developing the technology of the spaceborne SAR real time imaging processing, the satellite's fast response ability can be improved greatly. Analyzed and compared three technical approaches, such as DSP, FPGA and ASIC, a hybrid parallel system structure for real-time imaging processing was proposed. CS algorithm mapping on this structure and pipelined running sequence realization were also presented under the condition of real time processing, both demonstrated that this structure fit for the spaceborne SAR real time imaging processing.
