Abstract

A new three-dimensional zinc phosphate [Zn6P5O 20]3-·[C6N3H 15]3+ ·H2O (1) has been hydrothermally synthesized from a reaction system Zn(OAc)2-1-(2-aminoethyl) piperazine-H3PO4-H2O. Single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis shows that it crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c (no. 15) with a=20.240(4), b=16.856(3), c=8.1541(16)Å, β=111.02(3)°, V=2596.7(9)Å3 and Z=4. Its structure consists of one dimensional 12-membered ring channels along the [001] direction.
