Abstract

In order to solve the severe vibration and heavy noise problems existing in the entrance of certain type of turbo-charger, first, coordinate data are measured by a three-coordinate instrument, then models are built by using CAD software, the vibration-mode of the blades are analysed by using FEM software, and last the blade's natural frequency of each rank and their corresponding vibration mode are gained. In contrast to revolving speed of the turbo-charger and the passing frequencies of the vanes, the blade's syntonic frequencies are obtained, the blade's resonance is reduced, and the severe vibration and the heavy noise are avoided.
