Abstract

The thermal decomposition process and combustion characteristics for solid particulate aerosol extinguishing agent are studied by using FTIR and TG. The effect of oxidizer, fuels and density of the extinguishing agent on combustion characteristics are discussed. It is obtained that the solid particulate aerosol has good performance of suppressing flame from the solid particulate size distribution, gas components and chemical compositions of solid particulate in aerosol.
