Abstract

The paper is mainly focused on the impact of super-distance heat transport pipeline on heat source temperature in the passive phase change cooling system. Experiment results indicate that the heat power, geometric dimensions of pipeline and tilt angle has an important effect on the heat source temperature. In order to reduce the heat resource temperature, the flow resistance should be decreased by reducing the steam pipeline length and diameter or increasing its tilt angle in the experimental range of this paper. In the process of actual cooling system design, all of the above factors should be considered to optimize the cooling system.
