Abstract

Based on the fundamentals of near-infrared frequency-domain detection, this paper puts forward a near-infrared frequency-domain galactophore detection system model. In the frequency-domain detection, the intensity of light source is modulated, and then diffused as diffusive photon-density waves (DPDWs) on the breast. The amplitude and phase of DPDW is detected by the detector deposited around the galactophore tissue. Absorption coefficient and scattering coefficient of the tissue are obtained, and the system is simulated by computer, the results indicate that the optical parameter of breast tissue can be distinguished well to a thickness about 5 cm.
