Abstract

Aim To study the mechanism of the flow of the explosive shock wave around the protective wall. Methods Based on the algorithm the Euler-type MMIC, the SMMIC code was made by using the JWL equation of state for the explosive product. Results The initial stage of the development of 2-D explosive field with and without the protective wall was obtained. Conclusion The results which the shoch waue moues around the protective wall are in agreement with the principle of physics. It also indicates that the model and algorithm presented is proper and it can be used to aid the project design and simulate the problems about the effect on the far-field by the explosion.
