Abstract
We present a novel automatic compensation method in which a Sagnac loop filter is fixed to a material with a large thermal expansion constant. Its temperature sensitivity can reach 0.059 nm/°C, which is as 0.04 times as that of an uncompensated Sagnac loop filter. This method benefits the practicality of Sagnac loop filters to a certain extent.
