Abstract
Elastic wave transmission in a continuous inhomogeneous media is studied. Based on integral transformation, analytical solution for the wave transmission equations in 1-D inhomogeneous media is derived. By dividing the media into layers and considering the continuous conditions between the interfaces, the transfer matrix of amplitude of waves is obtained. Compared with the analytical results, the numerical results have attained a high precision. The study provides a basis for a theoretical and numerical analysis on defectoscopy.
