Abstract

In the process of a missile with a capacitance fuze meeting a tank's top armor, criteria for recognizing regions and distance measurement are required. Methods of region recognition and the target characteristics of the amplitude-coupling capacitance detector to the tank top armor are made use of in the criteria. Accurate measurement for the distance by DSP technique is applied. The target characteristic of the missile-target meeting is obtained by using the designed detector. The target characteristic curves cluster of different meeting regions is built up. The distance measuring criteria can meet the requirement of the accurate short-range measurement. This make it possible to destroy enemy's tank to the utmost.
