Abstract

With the extensive application of power electronic devices in power systems, there is a growing trend that the power systems have been power-electronized. Oscillation of power systems caused by power electronic devices is gradually emerging, and has become an important factor that affects the stability of power system. This paper discusses several types of oscillations in power-electronized power systems, and analyzes the mechanisms of these oscillations. On this basis, mitigation scheme of these oscillations are investigated. Simulation and some practical application results prove the effectiveness of the proposed countermeasures. This paper could be a reference for analysis and mitigation of oscillations in power-electronized power system.
