Abstract

Based on analysis on the future demand and development direction of urban furniture, this paper summarizes the innovative design methods of wood structure in future urban furniture. The combination of modern transformation of traditional wooden structure and the innovation of intelligent function of urban furniture brings the development direction and possible appearance of future wooden structure urban furniture. The urban furniture design case following centers on innovative connection nodes and the use of wooden structure as the main frame, while making the design adapted to the future development trend of intelligent city through intelligent function design as well. The purpose of this study is to modernize and redesign traditional wood structure construction technique in urban furniture design to adapt it to future city development.
