Abstract

To make the engine worked in high efficient areas, and the value of State of Charge (SOC) of battery maintained in reasonable working range, the logic threshold control strategy for parallel hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) based on the control of the engine operating points and the optimization working interval of the battery is proposed, the working modes of hybrid electric vehicle are discussed, and the demand torque in each working mode is analyzed. The Matlab/Cruise co-simulation results show that the proposed control strategy can make the engine worked mostly in high efficient areas which achieve the high energy conversion efficiency of system, the SOC value maintained in the reasonable interval, and can realize the reasonable torque distribution between the engine and motor.
