Abstract

Base on analyzing the deficiency of a former infrared telemetry system of piston temperature field, many improving measures in the aspects such as the number of data acquisition channels; the measure precision; the power consumption and the reliability of the data transmission were presented for the piston with small diameter. In order to meet the more rigorous working environment, the new system directly digitalized the temperature signal, assembled the data into a data package and then transmitted it outside via infrared. The new system was applied to the model 6106 diesel engine and the experimental results were shown.
