Abstract

The characteristics of plasma and effects of plasma on an amplifier circuit are investigated by COMSOL Multiphysics software. First, the plasma environment was calculated by Inductivity Coupled Plasma module (ICP) in COMSOL. Then, calculation of the magnetic flux density of a soft iron in the plasma environment was conducted by Magnetic Fields module (MF) in COMSOL. Finally, the Input/Output (I/O) responses of the amplifier circuit at the magnetic flux density were analyzed by the Circuit module (CIR) in COMSOL. By changing the parameters of plasma such as permeability and particle number density, 2D schematics of the influence of plasma permeability on the circuit were obtained.
