Abstract

MEMS thermal transducers is a promising technological platform for IR imaging. MEM IR FPA is fabricated based on bimaterial micro-cantilever, and an uncooled MEMS IR System is structured. Considering the image noise of infrared imaging system using bimaterial micro-cantilever FPA, the real-time IR imaging processing algorithm is raised based on Discrete-variance and Average-gray. This algorithm solves the problem of IR image details reduce and the loss of gray level while using algorithm of gray threshold segmentation and eliminates the random noise and background noise around the IR object successfully, achieves a remarkable effect of the denoising.
