Study of chaotic characteristics in laser radar backscatter

Abstract

The chaotic dynamic approach is used to analyze the chaotic characteristics of the laser radar backacatter, and based on the observed data, the chaotic character parameters, including correlation dimension, Lyapunov exponent and local predictivity, are counted. Results show that the laser radar backscatter possesses some natures of the chaotic process. This conclusion leads a new method in the target detection of laser radar.
