Abstract

According to the problem of acquisition of extremely-low-CNR high-dynamic signals in deep space exploration, an acquisition technique based on parallel subarea search was proposed, that is, a section of received signal is considered as a LFM signal, and a parameter estimation algorithm is exploited which is for extremely-low-CNR LFM signals to search its initial frequency and frequency rate in a large scope section by section parallelly, and some features were extracted and used for target detection based on CFAR detection theory. Besides, implementation complexity was fully considered. Simulation results show that the acquisition technique is available even under extremely-low-CNR condition, and can complete acquisition of large Doppler in quite a short time.
