Abstract

In order to solve stochastic optimal design of exterior ballistics, Stochastic Simulation Search Method is brought forward, which is a convenient and effective way by combining deterministic optimization algorithm and stochastic simulation directly. The principle of Stochastic Simulation Search Method is to search by deterministic optimization algorithm according to the average of random variables, and execute stochastic simulation at each search point to identify the feasibility of the design points and their corresponding target value, which repeats until optimization process is convergent. The method is applied to a typical example that can verify the feasibility of it, and characteristics of it are analyzed.
