Abstract

Vehicle information system is an important combat unit in the battlefield. It generates real-time data with wide range of sources, multiple formats, fast and large amount of information. In order to make better use of these data and provide reliable real-time information support to decision-makers, this paper applies random forest algorithm to battlefield vehicle information system, and constructs the state determination module. By this way, the current internal and external information of the vehicle system are converted into the situation description which can be intuitively understood by decision makers. The state determination module has been embedded into the battlefield vehicle information system. Simulation experiments are carried out under different operating conditions, which can accurately determine the current situation and provide it to the decision makers. The results show that the state determination module based on random forest satisfies the accuracy and rapidity of battlefield decision, and further improves the intelligence of battlefield vehicle system.
