Abstract

For recognition of individual characteristics of radar emitter in a complex electromagnetic environment, we propose a new thinking of using digital channelized receiver to receive the Intermediate Frequency(IF) radar signal, and considering the extracted front edge waveform of pulse envelop of radar signal as the individual characteristics of emitter. To solve the problem that it is not conducive to direct recognition of the front edge waveform of pulse envelop with large volumes of data, we use the first-order differential of the front edge waveform of pulse envelop as the waveform characteristics to conduct a specific radar emitter identification. The results of simulation experiments show that the identification method is effective.
