N2 - Improving the effectiveness of social innovation design education is of great significance to the development of social innovation design practice in China. Through high level international education exchange by online international joint classroom. It can effectively trigger the connection and interaction between different cultures and bring valuable cultural driving elements for the learning process of social innovation design. At the same time, organizing students to participate in high-level international design competition can effectively improve the attraction of social innovative design to students. By cooperate with charity organizations and government poverty alleviation departments, we can provide students with the opportunity of in-depth design practice and full use of the co-design method to carry out design research. These two approaches have a good effect on the establishment of high-level social innovation design education. At the same time, it costs less and is easier to get the support of foreign professors. An effective social innovation design educational practice process be described by this paper. Professors from two universities in the United States and China organized their students to study social innovation design in one classroom by internet. Students delve into the needs of the poor in their countries and try to use innovative design methods to come up with solutions. The enthusiasm of professors and students for social innovative design, international research and exchange, and the participation of social organizations have jointly promoted the education of social innovative design to achieve very good results.
