Simulation Verification and Testing of Dual Circular Polarization Diversity

Abstract

This paper presents a test method of satellite communication based on dual circular polarization diversity. A polarized channel model is established based on two validated models to obtain the bit error rate curve of MIMO system. Moreover, the specific antennas are chosen through the simulation result of the cross-polar discrimination (XPD). Finally, a hardware platform with USRPE310 and polarized-antenna is established to verify the simulation result.
