N2 - With the development of simulation applications, the Distributed Simulation Resource Repository (DSRR) could manage all kinds of distributed simulation resources and provide transparent access, search, and browsing for users. In recent years, more and more research focus on the construction of DSRR, which includes metadata, dataset, algorithm, model, toolkit, and etc. However, when more and more resources are added into DSRR, users get many same or similar resource result sets in DSRR by semantic searching. Numerous time has been spent on selecting simulation resources from the result sets. According to the features of simulation resources, we setup 5 quality criteria which are the resource price, download speed, the reputation of source, the availability and whether the resource has been accessed. Then the Local Optimization method is applied to get the quality score of each resource. These resources in result set are assorted again by quality score to help user select suitable resource and access it. This method is accomplished by LDAP server and J2EE JNDI interface. The selection time can be reduced by this method.
