Abstract
In order to improve electric bus' safety in braking and effectiveness in energy regeneration, a more intelligent braking system was designed, called electric-control air braking system. The related models of braking process were established. A braking force distribution strategy which was appropriate to electric-control air braking system was proposed. Then the vehicle braking process was simulated. The results show that the braking force distribution strategy is reasonable, in ensuring braking safety condition, and the vehicle can achieve good braking regeneration effect. The advantages of electric-control air braking system in braking force distribution and coordination with regenerative braking are reflected.
