Abstract
A control unit of time-based diesel fuel injection system was developed, which can be used for 4, 6, 8 and 12 cylinder independent operation. The control algorithm for various cylinder numbers and disposal was discussed. In order to simulate the different occasion, the real input signal was produced by dSPACE waveform and connected to the control unit. After simple initial setup via CAN, the control unit was tested on 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder electronic unit pump diesel engines.
