Separate meter in and separate meter out energy saving control system using dual servo valves under complex load conditions

Abstract

To guarantee the high control performance, strong load capacity, fast frequency response, and to simultaneously achieve a good performance of low cost and energy saving in electro-hydraulic servo systems, a kind of separate-meter in and separate-meter out energy saving control system was proposed using dual servo valves under complex load conditions. The proposed system was composed of separate meter in and separate meter out control system, using dual servo valves and energy-saving constant pressure servo pump station. Firstly, the combined system was modeled, and the static working points and energy saving performance were analyzed. Meanwhile, four kinds of complex load conditions and four kinds of control modes were considered. Then, the adaptive robust controller and related control strategies were applied in the system. Finally, a prototype platform was implemented for comparing and verifying the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed system.
