Abstract

Aim To reduce the error of the valve controlled system with energy-saving hydraulic pump, which is caused by variable gain characteristic. Methods The design methods of observer for open-loop gain in position system were presented, and the self-turning feedforward compensation techniques were implemented to compensate the control system dynamically. Results The experiment results show that the dynamic compensation improved the position tracking precision. Conclusion Self-turning feedforward compensation techniques can greatly reduce the error caused by variable gain characteristic.
