Abstract
The drawback of present models is that only the node degree is used to construct worm network. Taking into account the various physical factors influencing the real network evolution, a novel method is proposed to establish a worm network with preferential attachments by introducing a node attraction model. The network evolution mechanism is studied by using the mean-field theory and simulation. Theoretical calculation and computer simulation show that the connection between the nodes from the network and the newly infected host is related to the node degree, bandwidth, and host performance; the generated worm network has scale-free property.
