Abstract

In order to achieve fast detection of rotary parts profile, a system with linear CCD sensor using light curtain keep out method was established. Firstly, by analyzing the structure of experiment setup, the compensation methods are proposed to eliminate the main error caused by installation and periodic error caused by motion. Considering the data transmission delay and the total system disturbance such as environment factors then, an error compensation model for rotational parts measurement with two degrees of freedom was established. Finally, for different types of standard parts, the detection results have high repeat accuracy and strong resistance of interference. It is proved that the error compensation model is valid and the detection system is able to achieve non-contact measuring with high precision.
